Program of reduction of physical and commercial losses of the water network

The objective of this project is to:

develop a program to significantly and sustainably reduce the physical and commercial losses of the Djibouti drinking water network
define the technical assistance to be put in place to assist the loss reduction cell, which will coordinate the implementation of this program
develop bidding documents for rehabilitation works and for technical assistance services

Description of the WMI service

Rehabilitation of ONEAD premises (walls, frames, electricity, plumbing, installation of air conditioning)
Procurement of equipment and construction of a rudimentary water meter test bench for meters DN 15 and DN 20 mm
Definition of a representative consumer panel based on the analysis of extractions from the ONEAD customer database
Replacement of the panel meters by metrological volumetric meters with high metrological performance (R 400)
Verification of the accuracy of the panel meters using the test bench
Establishment of the consumption profiles of the panel customers
Training of ONEAD staff to the installation of loggers
On the job training of ONEAD staff to the use of the meter test bench
