The project for the renovation of the water network on San Andrés Island, Colombia, has a work progress of 66%.
The pressure, quantity and quality of drinking water have been improved in the different sectors, 30 km of HDPE pipes have been renewed (27.5 km phase I and 2.5 km phase II) which corresponds to 30% of the island’s networks.
11 km of pipes, 55 valves and 1,900 connections remain to be installed.
Permits are now approved for the entire phase II, which will allow an increase in the speed of installation rates. The project will be completed in 2021.
