WMI WINS CONTRACT IN TUNISIA
The contract, signed on 7 March, 2019, covers the supply of pilot equipment for customer metering, DMA flow meters, an AMR system and water losses monitoring and control tools as well as a three-year technical assistance for the Drinking Water Network in Djerba, Tunisia.

MODERNISATION OF AN ISLAND'S DRINKING WATER NETWORK, IN SAN ANDRES, COLOMBIA
WMI (VINCI Construction Grands Projets), leader, and Colombian company CMIJ have secured the contract to modernise the drinking water supply network on the island of San Andrés. It covers the design-installation of new pipes – 26 km in total, of which 9 km laid using trenchless methods – as well as the hydraulic sectorization of the network, the installation of 22 pressure regulating systems and the connecting up of 3,800 customers.

WORKS ON A DRINKING WATER NETWORK, IN CALI, COLOMBIA
The joint venture composed of WMI (VINCI Construction Grands Projets), lead contractor with 70%, and engineering firm ConIngeniera has won the two works packages of a call for tenders launched by the water authority EMCALI for works and services relating to reducing losses of water, hydraulic sectorisation and the regulation of pressure in the city of Cali’s drinking water network. The project, taking two years to implement, notably comprises the design and construction and/or maintenance of 35 hydraulic sectors, leak detection over 4,000 Km mains, the renewal, in places, of 8,000 metres of pipes and the installation of 1,200 sector valves. The aim is to save up to 15 millions cu. metres of drinking water a year.

Reduce as much as possible the physical water losses in the critical water supplying area (WSA) of Casablanca city (supplying time 24h/24h), Lydec, delegated authority operating on the network with the aim of reaching as soon as possible an overall network efficiency of 85%.
