The contract has been awarded to WMI. The project, carried out in a pilot sector of the network covering over 20,000 connections, received a grant from the French government (FASEP) and a co-funding support from EMCali. The contract has been signed on the 12th July 2016 and the memorandum of understanding between WMI and EMCali on the 5th of July 2016.
WMI, leader of the Consortium WMI-NGinfra-Sage, has been awarded for the technical assistance contract to improve technical, commercial and energy performance for five drinking-water distribution systems in northeastern Brazil (states of Bahia and Permanbuco) as part of the federal program INTERAGUAS co-funded by the World Bank and the Brazilian government. The contract was signed on June 21, 2016, with the IICA (Inter-American Institute for the Cooperation on Agriculture) and the Brazilian Ministry of Cities.
