OPTIMIZATION OF DISTRICITION NETWORK AND NRW REDUCTION FOR 17 SUB-SECTORS OF BOGOTA (COLOMBIA) THROUGH ACTIVE PRESSURE CONTROL
The project aimed at the optimization of the distribution network by reducing NRW in 17 sub-sectors of Bogota (ZONE 4 district) through Active Pressure Control.
The 2 mains activities of the project were:Update Hydraulics Model for 17 sub-districts;
Design, supply and install 17 Active Pressure Control Stations.
Description of WMI services
1. Update Hydraulic Model for 17 sub-districts:
Flow-pressure measurement campaign;Model calibration.
2. Design, supply and install 17 Active Pressure Control Stations with permanent Pressure logging:
Selection and Sizing of 17 appropriate Hydraulic Pressure Management Control Valves with hydraulically dampened switching between dual set points;
Supply, installation and commissioning into service of 17 Pressure Management Control Valves (ND 3” to 8” with by-pass) and associated equipment, forming part of the Pressure Management Chamber.
